About

Welcome to Laundry on the Line!  This blog is mainly for the thoughts, musing and projects of a woman in her 30′s trying to find simplicity in this hectic world.  I live in a semi- rural area, grow my own food, make meals from scratch, save scraps and make quilts, and, yes, hang my laundry on the line.  I am also a busy elementary school teacher who loves the Internet, my sewing machine, and long-distance phone plans (I grew up in a city far from here).  I write about cooking and gardening, sewing and quilting, books and blogs, simplicity and frugality, and my reflections on finding joy in the everyday moments of life.    I love meeting new people and sharing thoughts and ideas, so grab a cup of tea and we’ll have a chat while we wait for the laundry to dry! :)

Please stop by my Etsy shop, too!
